Everybody needs a change once in a while! Sometimes we like to take the participants to other skate parks in order to let them make some new skating experiences! At the beginning of july we took them to the freshly finished skate park in Schwaz, Tyrol!
Celebrating 5 Years of Skaid- Skaid on!

Unbelievable but true: Skaid is already five years old! We´ve reached preschool age, ready to do the next step and grow with our project and our ideas. As the years passed by we´ve got to know people from everywhere in the world with different stories and different views of the world. As different as we are, we´ve all been connected as we´ve been rolling together in the streets of Innsbruck! Many people are involved in the project and even more people have been supporting us over the years. It`s time to celebrate our diversity, our connection, our future together!
Camping trip @The Cradle Skatepark Brixlegg, Tyrol

First holiday together! In august, we went for a full weekend to The Cradle Skatepark, Brixlegg, Tyrol. We were allowed to camp right next to the park, skate all day and half night Long! Not only did we skate but went swimming and had barbecues as well - what a great Weekend!

Every year Wiltener Kultursommer is organizing several cultural events @ Wiltener square in Innsbruck. This year we were part of the program by providing information on the project, presenting our Skaid Shirts and Hoodies, organizing some life music and a skate race that turned out to be quite baily for some peple but still a lot of fun! Also, thx Simon for the very sweet griptapes you sprayed live!
BONANZAs Mai Bazar, Innsbruck

In may, BONANZA invited us to participate at their mai bazar. We used the opportunity to present our very new skaid shirt and hoodie design, sell some very tasty arabic cakes and sweets, talk to people about the project and motivate the boys to rap at the open mic session we organized.
Award ceremony - Austrian Integration Prize Sports 2017, ÖIF, Innsbruck

We won the Austrian Integration Prize Sports 2017 by ÖIF (Austrian Integration Fund). After the ceremony we celebrated the 1000,- Euro prize money with ice cream and a nice early summer skate session!

For the second snow day we took the boys to the skiing Resort Axamer Lizum, Tyrol. They enjoyed the warm weather, the fresh slopes and the great view from the very top a lot!

Living in Tyrol without ever having tried to ski? Impossible! To give out participants the possibility to make some serious snow experiences for themselves we organized a skiing trip to the ski resort Nordkette in Innsbruck. The guys learned dangerously fast and had lots of fun!
Winter day trip, Kufstein, Tyrol

To show the boys some other Tyrolean skate possibilities we took them to a day trip to Kufstein and skated three different spots - the local skatepark under a bridge, a semi-private indoor skatepark and a private mini ramp. We finished the day happy and with freshly made Pizza in our bellies.
GoShred second hand market for wintersports, Innsbruck

In November 2017, goshred.com invited us to join their annual market to spread the Skaid idea and collect donations for our cause. In exchange we prepared snacks, coffee and good vibes :-)

In June 2017 we were ready to start the weekly Skaid lessons! We met with some motivated kids to chat, laugh, organize courses and distribute the donated and sponsored skate stuff.

Skaids kick-off event took place in may 2017. Accompanied by music, snacks, a lottery with great prizes and a king of the line skate contest, the kids had the chance to try skating and see if they liked it!
