SkART - Art Therapy and Skateboarding

This summer we have been busy with a lot of skaid courses and a new project we started. SKART is a combination of art therapy and therapeutic skateboarding that we planned and executed for refugee kids between 7 and 9 years old. Participants from Syria, Somalia, Kurdistan and the Ukraine joined us for art and skateboarding interventions focusing on inner stability, self-awareness and body awareness.

This was a cooperative initiative between Skaid, the art project Farbensortiererei and the skateboarding project Dropinrideout.
